weather you decide to play the survivor or the killer a bit better a few things to consider is the base movement speed. the base movement speed changes a few key points. those being how many steps it takes from one pallet or vault location to the next looping area. weather the killer falls short and takes a pallet hit the face, or weather you both take a hit. weather the survivor goes down and the killer saves a few seconds on gen progression. everything is tied together in one way or another and the little things add up drasticly ultimately creating a set outcome that leaves you prey to the entity's luck.
height really only matters for hiding yourself in plain sight, when looping the killer can seem to break off lose line of sign just crouch and wait, the survivor will mind game themselves into free hits for the killer. it really only works in tandum if you bother to hide your redstain so practicing walking backwords and around corners blindly will ensure more hits frequently.
break speed helps the killer in a few ways not exactly considered straight forward, breaking a pallet a couple seconds faster lets you get a little closer to the gen before the survivors can gen rush it to completion, it gives you more disengage oppertunites which help a lot more for play styles of the shape and ghostface, allowing for more chances to sneak up on others and create more pressure for mind game mistakes at loops when they lose line of sight. it also helps you controle a certain section of the map so you and build that trapper end game perfectly.
vault speed will change the outcome of a garenteed hit on the same loop or not, not many people realise different killers have better base vault speed over others, for instance the shape once fully powered to evil within three vaults faster and walks faster so they ensure a hit with survivors being exposed at a much greater chance than without. another to consider is the clown, while seeming like breaking pallets faster would help with slow down, that only works if you have someone close to cornerened to begin with. a better way is slowing one side of the loop while vaulting the other and pushing the survivor though the gas area or to avoid it, letting the clown sheep herd the survivors into areas together. best if you memorise the maps to effectively play the clown better.
men survivors tend to be more noticeable height wise in areas where smaller frame female characters are competely hidden at far distences and this is where line of sight choices matter, the downside to this a bit is taller characters tend to look a slight funny running becasue they dont get extra runwalk speed from longer legs, they all have the same base speed. you get all the disadvantage of being more visible while none of the benifit of being more built in the frame. nerxt is the loud grunts when injured, a faint moaning compareed to grunts varie from character to character dispite the gender they are. which can both help and hinder drasticly, i would suggest picking a louder character with taller frame to better hide your lesser skilled teammates. when both downed you have a slightly higher chance on covering them having the killer pick you up first, which can play into team build mechanics very well from a subtle stance. remeber 4 players vs 1 teamwork makes the dream work.
everyone gets frustrated at some point in the game and the most often way to tell is if your being camped as a survivor or choosing to camp as the killer. the killer will tend to camp at the late game no matter what weather thats someone slugged on the ground or on the hook. the idea here is to effectively waste time. now if you choose to camp early on in the game its best to do this in areas that have the gens you want to keep for late game, that way it snowballs your efforts. while it is frowned on it gives you channces to drasticly deminish the suvivor team early on when they make bad choices. by guarding your 3 gens it forces their gen rush into your favor, best play styles are more suitable for this are bubba with insidious that way you can seem like your not camping and get multiple downs. this can be achieved by standing out of sight in obveious places but give you looking advantage of the hooked player as well as the gens. that way you can hear if the gens are worked on and see the other gens while watching for afar where the survivors are coming from ensuring where they are most likely to head back to later.
lastly on the camping issue i will say commit to the tunneling if your going to camp it just works in tandum. by camping the person on the hook can free themselves alowing you to progress their hook states faster and death faster becasue they never get the chance to reset. the disadvange is the survivors can speed down all the other gens. doesnt matter if your playing the trapper and are trapping a certain area making is almost impossible to do gens in the 3 gen area.
i will leave you with this last and final tidbit to think about when considering changes from patch notes, how many blood points are you averaging against your game time played. you can play the game terribly and still outgain levels by just mixing it up the most efficently during matches, choosing to save a little more often, distracting the killer, blinding the killer while your teammate runs during a pallet break animation or vault location. map offerings are great to save up and then just use to learn the new changes to a map, the pallet spawn locations the different layouts of the map in general, and cakes always help with that efficent blood point grinding.
